Current commissions only offer digital images. For any images you receive through commissions, I grant you permission to use them in commercial and non-commercial works, with or without attribution or credit to me. I am not responsible for any illegal activities where usage of my art is involved.
By default, these permissions are non-exclusive and I will post whatever you commission to my website and my socials. If you don’t want me to do this, please tell me! (see USAGE OF ART ON MY WEBSITE AND SOCIALS below)
To promote my art, I’ll post anything you commission to my website, to my Ko-fi page, and on my socials. My commissions will be under a CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license, which restricts it to non-commercial and non-derivative usage with attribution (these restrictions do not apply to you).
You can request me not to do so, however, at no extra charge. Ideally you should make that request before I finish your commission; I’ll take down my art if you request me to, but asking me earlier means your art doesn’t get posted in the first place.
If you’re fine with me posting the work you commissioned but want it to be under a different license, please specify the license you want me to post it under. For Creative Commons licenses and other licenses published on the internet, share me the name and ideally a link to the license. For any other license, you’ll have to describe it to me.
(see REVISIONS) I can take edits and revisions (the latter, to an extent). I’ll send you whatever edits I do, but I won’t post them unless you ask me to; this is to save time. I will, however, post revisions as I do with finished works– again, unless you ask me not to.
When you commission me, your art will be put on one open week of my schedule. I’ll tell you where you’re sitting on my schedule, in the form of a deadline (example: Oct. 25, Oct. 5).
If I get someone else’s work completed before their deadline, I may work on yours on the same week I assigned to theirs. I wouldn’t count on this, if you’re wanting me to work on something more complicated. If I feel I can’t complete your commission within a week, I will ask for a different one.
Unfortunately I won’t be changing other people’s places in the schedule, so if your place in the schedule’s too late for your comfort, you’re eligible for a refund (see “REFUNDS” below).
For whatever reason, if I end up not being able to complete your work within the week I assigned to it, you can ask:
If there’s customers waiting for me, I’ll get to theirs first and then start working on finishing your art. This will be ASAP, and not just on the same week as the deadline.
The refund policy for past due commissions does not apply for revisions of completed work; if I have sent you completed work then you are not eligible for a refund.
If you want me to put off your commission (i.e. to get reference photos ready), I can put your deadline off to another week. I’ll give earlier weeks to other customers as they come, and handle theirs before yours.
I will not accept any requests for lewd, suggestive, or fetish art. If you’re confused about whether or not what you’re asking for falls in that category, please reach out with me (see CONTACT).
With that in mind, I will also reject anything depicting or endorsing pedophilia, zoophilia, necrophilia, or incest. People requesting such will be blocked from commissioning me and blocked from my socials.
Lastly, I will not accept art that harasses groups or individuals. I will also not draw anything that endorses political views. This excludes anything depicting queer or gender-queer pride. This can also be vague, so if you’re confused about what I’m willing to draw, again, please contact me (see CONTACTS).
You may refund commissions at any point after I finish sketching artwork. Before this, I’ll send you sketches for the work you commissioned, and you can confirm whether you want me to edit the sketch (see REVISIONS), refund the commission, or continue working.
I don’t offer refunds any point after continuing work past sketches, including refunds for revisions, unless I hit the deadline scheduled for you work; if I fail to complete work within the week I scheduled it for, then you can ask for a refund. (see TURNAROUND & SCHEDULING)
I count redraws as revisions. If I have to redraw the piece– i.e. in a new pose, or from a new angle– this counts as a revision. An edit doesn’t count as a revision, even for finished works; you can ask for as many edits as you want.
You can ask for as many sketches as you’d like during the sketching phase. I, however, only offer one revision for commissions I’ve finished. Redoing your piece from scratch takes as much effort
I don’t offer refunds for revisions of completed art; this applies even if you’re asking for a one during the revision’s sketch phase.
I will work with you to avoid having to do such a revision. We can talk with one another to find the specific pose you’re looking for, or I can draw you a sheet of poses to choose from. Again, you can ask for as many sketches as you’d like; this is when you should figure out the pose and angle, not after the commission’s finished and I’ve already done the full linework, coloring, and shading.
Before I start working on the final piece, I start with sketches. My sketches are typically at a low resolution with at most rough cleanup. I’ll also include rough lighting/shading or incomplete coloring, if you’ve ordered those add-ons. I’ll send you the piece and, if you don’t like it, you can either ask for a refund (see REFUNDS) or ask me to redo or edit the sketch.
I’ll keep communications open and I’ll handle your requests as they come, or I’ll let you know when I can.
During the sketching phase (see SKETCHING PHASE above), or during your initial request, you can also ask for a “pose sheet” containing different poses. You can either provide a rough description of the pose you’re looking for, specify a detail or set of details you want the final pose to have, or ask me to come up with whatever pose I can. I default to six (6) poses, but you can specify how many you want.
