In case you didn't know, this site is owned by a plural system!
Essentially, a plural system happens when your brain splits into parts that each present themselves as unique people or personalities.
This page lists the different people in this system-- alters, if you will.
We're not exactly sure why we're plural or what our plurality points to. We're not sure if we're really plural! We don't know how this works! Help!
Sorry. What we do know is that we aren't all that separated from each other. Our brain is less like an office space and more like a living room; everybody is just there watching as someone else fronts, free to provide input, and at times its easy to pass controls. We've never experienced severe amnesia from switching, as far as we know.
We mostly differ in the way we percieve ourselves and in the things we enjoy. Its a spectrum. We vary widely but each alter has another alter that's like them in some way.
For business, we're not insistent on being plural! You can identify us as a single person-- chiefly, as Ripley-- and you can probably expect us to present that way.
This page and all of its children were made both to explain our predicament and help us map ourselves out. Our Obsidian vault probably serves the latter better, but ultimately both that and this are serving the larger goal of self discovery.
